Comp. results [02 Mar 2004|01:52pm] [ mood | ecstatic ] Wow. I got my results back, and just...wow. I am so happy. I got SECOND in Irish, even though I danced terribly and fell down!! I also got FIRST in Highland, which means I am in Premier!!!! :DDDDD *happy* Yay. I am so excited. :D Agh, I need to update my website. post comment

hmm [28 Jan 2004|09:26pm] [ mood | thoughtful ] I think I'm going to retire from competitive dancing. If I retire now, I'll be in the Hall of Fame. It's been a hard decision, but I think it's the right one. I love dancing but the competitive aspect takes up so much of my life, and I'm getting sick of it. Besides, it would be such an honour to be in the Hall of Fame. Then maybe my parents could afford to let Marianne start dancing. She would love that. I think my decision is made. I just have to wait for the application to come. post comment

[11 Nov 2003|10:34pm] [ mood | blah ] I really should dance in the November feis. I really, really should. But for some reason I just don't feel like it. I never want to participate in the feis right before the WebO. I skipped the November feis last year. I know I should go this year, but...blahh. Once you get to Champs, feiseanna feel kind of worthless. Not completely, but a little. WebO's and All Inis's are fun (even though I wasn't able to dance in the All Inis last year :P). Now I really regret that. What if I don't qualify this year??? That could've been my last chance to dance in the All Inis. I placed FOURTH, for goodness's sakes. And I skipped out. Life totally sucks. post comment

[25 Oct 2003|07:13pm] [ mood | hungry ] I was actually able to make it to both the Highland comp. and feis this month. I think I did pretty well in Highland, but I'm not too sure about my feis :/ oh well. Anyway, I know I haven't written for a while but there isn't really anything happening here. Been practicing for the WebOireachtas :] Yes, I know it's in December, but it's never too early to start practicing! Whoa, when did I turn into such a practice freak? Probably because I have no social life *cough* mhm. Mmmm, it's time for dinner. Chinese food! By the way, I'm in Amsterdam right now with some of my dancing friends :D I'll write more about that later. By the way, last month I got 1st in Championship in the feis, and I got 2nd in Intermediate in the Highland competition. yes! [01 Jul 2003|04:31pm] [ mood | ecstatic ] I just got my results for my Irish dance June competition and my Highland June Competition!!! I am very, very happy about how well I placed. In Irish, it was my second feis in Championships. My last one, I only got a second. Well, this one I got a first!!! And in Highland (I was competing in Novice) I got first and overall Novice winner!!! I'm in Highland Intermediate level now. Yippee! :D post comment
